Our Lady of Peace School has two bands led by Mr. Mark Chorazyczewski. The Beginner Band is comprised mostly of 4th graders, and a few students from 5th through 7th grade who joined band this year. They meet for group lessons on Wednesdays after school and perform in two concerts each year.
The Advanced Band is comprised of 5th through 8th graders who have one to four years of experience in band. They meet for full band rehearsal and group lessons on Thursdays after school. They perform in at least two concerts per year, the Br. Rice Solo Contest, and in the St. Laurence Elementary Band Contest. They have received first and second place trophies at this contest, and they continue to make Our Lady of Peace proud!
